Gordon Ramsay was born on November 8, 1966, in Johnstone, Scotland and raised in Stratford-Upon-Avon, England. He has three Siblings, One Elder Sister and a younger Brother and Sister. His father Gordon James Ramsay was a Welder, Swimming Pool Manager and a Shopkeeper. His mother, Mrs Helen and Sister have been nurses. Leaving Football Forced him to Work and run his Family. He worked in Kitchen Stewarding in a Local Indian Restaurant where his Sister was a Waiter. After that Ramsay focused more attention to his Culinary Education. He got Admission at North Oxford Shire Technical College Sponsored by the Rotarians. He Described his Decision to Enter catering college was a complete Accident. After completing his Graduation, he worked as a Commis in the 1980s. He then moved to London and started working in a series of restaurants until he found his mentor Marco Pierre White in his restaurant Harveys.
Ramsay worked and got trained under Marco for two years and ten months. After that, he worked at Le Gavroche for a year. He got a chance to work in Hotel Diva, a Ski resort in the French Alps as Invited by Albert Roux to work with him. When he was 23 years old, he moved to Paris to work with the Michelin Starred Chefs Guy Savoy and Joel Robuchon. He continued his training of French Cuisine for Three Years. Working as Head Chef
In 1993, Gordon Ramsay became the head Chef at La Tante Claire which is a Michelin star hotel. After that, he again started working with Marco White as he offered him the position of head Chef and 10% shares of the restaurant and that restaurant is Rossmore. But Ramsay wanted to run his own fine-dining Restaurant. So, he left Rossmore in July 1998. This was the riskiest and Crucial decision of his entire career.
In 1998, Ramsay following his dream opened “Restaurant Gordon Ramsay”, his first fine-dining Restaurant. His Hard Work paid off and in 2001, his Restaurant gained its three Michelin Stars. Restaurant Gordon Ramsay was listed as the Second-Best in the UK by the Good Food Guide. Now his chain of restaurants is from England to France, Italy to Dubai. There are 14 restaurants in England, 4 in France, 1 in Ireland, 2 in Italy, 1 in Canada, 12 in the US, 2 in Dubai, 1 in Qatar, 1 in Tokyo, 1 in South Africa, 3 in Hong Kong and 1 in Singapore which he Owns or Operates.
